Xuan Yuan Sword 3: Rift of the Sky Review

Hey everyone!!!

I’m sorry for being gone for so long, I honestly didn’t mean to have that happen. Anyway, I had just watched Xuan Yuan Sword. Words cannot describe how I feel about it. It was beautiful!! Every word, every action…I could not stop watching. The show was a perfect blend of magic and wuxia.

One of my favorite things about Xuan Yuan Sword is how everyone is not who they seem. A perfect example is Ningke. Although she is a demon, Ke loves Yuwen Tuo with all her heart. Most people think that demons are cruel and cold-blooded and most of the time that is true. However, they are not empty of feelings. Feelings can cause anyone to do anything; especially love.

One of my favorite quotes that demonstrates comes from the very show.

Xiao Xue: Even for [love’s] sake, the weakest man can become invincible.”

In other words, love can be the most dangerous and strongest emotion humans could ever feel. If someone else loves a person so deep that he would literally do anything for her, he probably would.

In Xuan Yuan Sword, a character I feel bad for is Xiao Xue. When she left her hometown, Moon River City, to travel with Jingchou, Yu’er, and Yuwen Tuo/Jianchi she was not more than 15 years old. When she left Xiao Xue was innocent, however she matured but in the saddest way possible. Although she knew that she was Nuwa’s daughter and was destined to love the Earthly Emperor, her heart went towards another; Jianchi/Tuo. When Jianchi turned out to be Yuwen Tuo, she was hurt but she still could not help but love him.  Even though Tuo was in love with Ke, she could not help her feelings. She was happy to see him happy so when he got married, Xiao Xue willingly helped the bride get married. Today, it is hard to find someone who loves another that much.

This is why I love Tangren so much! They put together the most eye-tearing, heart-wrenching, yet hilarious shows ever! If you have not seen this series, watch it, watch it, watch it. I can guarantee that it is amazing and fabuous.
